POS 18 : Hexis 7"

Hexis 'X' 7"

Three tracks of nausea-inducing, face-melting savage brutality from these Danish punks. Constant thunderous drums, demented metal riffs and filthy vocals. They are devastating live and this record goes some way towards capturing their huge and overwhelming wall of noise. For fans of Shora, Thou, Deathspell Omega.

Split release with IFB, Orchid Scents, Pandabanda and Maximum Douglas Records.

POS 17 : Beau Navire / Republic of Dreams 7"

Beau Navire / Republic of Dreams split 7"

Two hits of chaotic hardcore from either side of the Atlantic. First up is the Bay Area's Beau Navire and their best recorded output to date. Great melodies along with alternate moments of violence and epicness. On the flipside is the first songs from the ROD project that is Jan and Sven from the now defunct Louise Cyphre and Lars from the Resurrectionists so you already know what to expect- frantic, fast, grinding, everything that is right about this kind of music. The new pretenders can go home, screamo is dead, long live the Republic of Dreams.

One of the best looking releases we've done as well- lovely die-cut covers and some copies on green vinyl. Split release with IFB, Pure Heart, Moment of Collapse and Inkblot Records.

POS 16 : Hungry Lungs 7"

HVNGRY LVNGS s/t 7"

A great slab of modern heavy hardcore without the bros and the posturing but with all of the m
eticulously written, perfectly executed riffs, pummelling drums and raging vocals you could want. For fans of His Hero is Gone, Converge, Perth Express etc. We have been stoked on this band since before the demo even came out and are really happy to be part of their first vinyl release. Split release with several other labels (including our favourite cohorts: RWP & Halo of Flies and our first joint venture with our honeyz Win Htien).

POS 15 : PROTESTANT 10"

PROTESTANT 'Stalemate' 10"

We are stoked to be able to help with this latest release from the US's Midwestern hardcore vets. Another release for POS and another poor attempt at summarizing our newest piece of heavy hardcore whilst resisting the urge to use the words: brutal, dark, raging, pummeling or all of the above. Protestant are as enjoyable as vitriolic, angst ridden hardcore can be. They play some of the solidest, most well executed metallic hardcore around mixing furious dbeats with dark melodies and ferocious vocals. Not only is it this record the aural equivalent of a punch to the head it looks really sweet to boot- handscreened chipboard covers and great insert booklets. For fans of Rorschach (doh), His Hero is Gone and Catharsis.
Split release with several labels including the guitarist's killer Halo of Flies label.

POS 14 : VELOZ 7"

Veloz 'Sleipnir' 7"

When one of our bands played with Veloz in a Connecticut basement last summer we instantly fell for these dudes, barely a day passed since without us jamming their demo 7" and so when talk of new songs came about we immediately jumped at the chance to release it along with our BFFs at React With Protest. We dragged them over to tour with us at the start of the summer and we're still shaking in their wake months later.

Veloz are coming out of Boston, MA like a technical bulldozer. Some of the most solid, raging metallic hardcore around right now. Furious and unrelenting drumming, tech and blazing guitars and downright brutal vocals. Unadulterated furor packed into short, fast, ripping songs. Finished off by awesome cover art which completes the Norse theme. Tough music made by tough nerds.

There are splits with Lich (UK) and Divider (US) on the books for the future but in the meantime check out the other bands these dudes are involved with; Skvlt, Veld, Host, Capsule and more.

POS 13 : Kaddish LP

After years of talking and planning the first full length release from Kaddish, it is finally out now and we couldn't be happier with it.

Seriously immense emo hardcore. Chaotic riffs countered with the right amount of melodic relief. Tunes that will worm their way into your head and leave you singing, faux accented into your shower curtain imagining you were Tayside.

The cover art work complements the music perfectly, bleak and introspective. The record comes with the closest thing we're going to get to lyrics and a few musings from their wordsmith to boot.

For fans of Jeromes Dream and Badiou. Sorry Scotland, you just lost your best kept secret.

This is a split release between us, Autumn Jams, Internationale and This One's for the Crew.

POS 12 : Resurrectionists / Battle of Wolf 359 10"

This is the inevitable vinyl output from the friendship of these two bands. Released in time for the March/April 2010 UK tour.

Resurrectionists are from Germany and play pummelling, grinding hardcore as perfectly as you could hope to have it. Insane drums and eerie, driving guitars overlayed with guttaral and bloodcurdling vocals. Possibly their best songs yet? Delightfully brutal.

At the time of the recording BOW were based in Kent and London and blend a range of styles and influences into their own brand of raging, downtuned hardcore picking up where their LP of last year left off. The lyrics are as abstract as ever with nihilistic reflection on enviromental, personal and politcal issues.

Split release with our friends in Asymetrie, Moment of Collapse, React With Protest and 7 Degrees.

POS 11 : Resurrectionists LP

Resurrectionists hail from north-western Germany, and play a combination of pummeling "bremen style" hardcore mixed with chaotic "withing hour-esque" emo-violence/screamo. This band is tight, very heavy, and has multiple vocalists. After their demo recordings and a split 7" with Merkit, we are proud to co-release their first full-lengh record (that even contains a Eye Hate God coversong!). The cover is gatefold and a A2-Poster is included, artwork by stefan weyer. This band contains ex-members of Arsen Aka König Der Monster and The Apoplexy Twist Orchestra.
